‘Pathan’ at the Indian box office: 127 crores in two days, 70 crores on Thursday

Since its release on Wednesday, the Hindi film ‘Pathan’ has been continuously creating records. The film which has the highest opening ever in Bollywood earned 70 crore rupees on India’s Republic Day on Thursday. In two days, the film’s earnings reached 127 crores.

On Wednesday, Pathan had an opening of Rs 55 crore in India. In two days, the film managed to earn 100 crores. According to Box Office India, there was a surge in the film’s earnings on the second day. The website said, “There is no film before that has crossed the net mark of 50 crores twice on the first day and approached 70 crores.”

Starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham in lead roles, the film is based on an action-packed storyline. Salman Khan has a special role in the film. On the third day of the release on Friday, the Hindi version of the film is projected to earn around 15 crores.

It is said that the film directed by Siddharth Anand is earning well in India as well as abroad. It is assumed that Pathan’s historic earnings in Bollywood, where even big films are constantly failing, will bring immediate relief to Bollywood. The film has earned aggressively in the first two days in Nepal as well.
