Shahrukh Khan starrer ‘Pathaan’ has become the fastest film to earn 300 crores in Bollywood. The film earned 21 crore rupees on its seventh day of release. After ‘Baahubali-1’, Shahrukh’s action-starrer film has achieved this feat at the box office.
The total collection of Pathan in the first week in India is 315 crores. This film, which was released last Wednesday, has earned aggressively at the Nepali box office in the first week. However, Nepal’s earnings have not been made public. Until last Saturday, the film’s earnings in Nepal were around 50 million Nepali rupees.
Pathan, who has been making records since its worldwide release, broke the record of the Hindi version of ‘Baahubali 2: The Conclusion’ in seven days and entered the 300 crore club in seven days. According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, Baahubali-1 took 10 days to earn Rs 300 crore.
The Hindi version of ‘KGF: Chapter 2’ (2022) managed to touch the figure of 300 crores in 11 days. Aamir Khan’s Dangal (2016) took 13 days for that. Both Sanju (2018) and Tiger Zinda Hai (2017) took 16 days to enter the Rs 300 crore club. Meanwhile, Aamir’s PK (2014) and Hrithik Roshan’s Waar (2019) took 17 days and 19 days respectively to achieve the Rs 300 crore mark.
One week box office collection of ‘Pathaan’ (315 crores) is more than that of KGF: Chapter 2 by 65 crores net. Pathan managed to earn a good first week to break this record in five days. Directed by Siddharth Anand, Pathan was released in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu a day before Republic Day 2023. Salman Khan also has a special role in the film produced by Yash Raj Films.
Pathaan has been breaking records ever since its release. Earlier the film crossed 200 crore nett in four days and became the fastest Hindi film to enter the 200 crore club. Even before the release of the film, Pathan broke records with his incredible advance bookings. Advance bookings for Pathan opened on January 20.
