May Pang reveals the emotional start to a relationship with John Lennon in a new documentary

The emotional story of May Pang’s relationship with John Lennon is explored in the upcoming documentary “The Last Weekend”, set to be released on April 13. Pang, who was Lennon’s personal secretary in 1973 when she met him, opened up about the beginning of their love affair that lasted 18 months from 1973 to 1975.

Despite being happy in her job, Lennon convinced Pang to take a chance on a romantic relationship with him when his marriage with Yoko Ono hit a rough patch. The start of their relationship was not a smooth one, and Pang admitted to shedding tears after the first time they slept together.

However, Lennon and Pang shared a love of music, and they enjoyed playing music with their bandmates, Paul McCartney and George Harrison. They also went on trips to Los Angeles with friends such as Harry Nilsson, Ringo Starr, and Mick Jagger.

May and Lennon were in a romantic relationship until he passed away.
