Bollywood producer Nitesh Tiwari is preparing to make a mythological film based on Ramayana. The script has been prepared, in which Hrithik Roshan has been offered the role of Raavan. But according to the latest news, not Hrithik but ‘KGF’ star Yash will play the role of Raavan.
According to the recent news of Pinkvilla, Hrithik has rejected the offer of a film based on Ramayana. He no longer wants to play a negative role. Hrithik also played a negative role in the previously released film ‘Vikram Vedha’ and he no longer wants to work in such a role.
After Hrithik rejected the offer, Tiwari and producer Madhu Mantena have now offered ‘KGF’ star Yash for the role of Raavan. The producer has also handed over the script of the film to Yash. According to reports, Yash has already started reading the script. He has 4-5 film scripts. So there is a possibility that Raavan of Ramayana can become Yash now.
Along with Hrithik, Ranbir Kapoor has also received a film offer. Ranveer has been offered the role of Lord Shri Ram. Currently, there is no confirmation on this from his side. Tiwari and Madhu had officially announced in 2019 that a film would be made on Ramayana. After the casting is finalized, the shooting will begin in May this year. Currently, director Tiwari is busy shooting for the film ‘Bawal’, which stars Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor in lead roles.
