ChatGPT Vs Google

In the last 20 years, Google has become the king of internet searching. Many companies tried to compete with Google. But they were the ones who ended up being displaced. It was a delusion that Google is as powerful as anyone else in this field. Because of this, he hardly imagined that Google would be removed from the area.

However, this time, a company has entered the field to compete with Google. It is none other than ‘ChatGPT‘ (an AI-based chatbot). Due to this tool, not only Google but also many industries have increased the risk of their existence being destroyed due to artificial intelligence. After all, why is there a growing fear that Google Search will be displaced due to ChatGPT, which was released only two months ago?

The great scientist of the twenty-first century, Stephen Hawking, predicted that AI is a dangerous indicator for human life. According to him, in the future, artificial intelligence will be so advanced that human intelligence will be child’s play before it. His statement implied that the robot will become a hub for human life. Now that statement of his is becoming true.

In 1998, Google was first launched in a small room in a house in Menlo Park, California. What is the reason for a company that started with such a small force to rule the Internet world for decades? The only reason for that is that Google can give quick and accurate answers. 90% of all searches are done on Google every day.

Whether it is to find a movie review, to know about the weather, to find a research paper, or to find out about something new, people depend on Google. In this way, platforms like Gmail, and YouTube are also the main platforms for Google’s income. However, among these platforms, Google earns 61 percent of the total income from the search engine, i.e. 98.1 billion dollars.

Similarly, 9 percent from YouTube, 13 percent from Gmail network members, 6 percent from the cloud, 11 percent from Play Store, and the rest from other platforms. Today, the total share price of the company is more than 1.222 trillion dollars. However, now Google has started to feel so insecure that they had to issue an internal ‘red code’.

Issuance of the ‘Red Code’ can be viewed in different ways. In this context, Red Code means that the company should move forward with its main priority project. Or, make yourself aware of competitors who have entered the market. In line with the same project, Google announced an AI chatbot named ‘Bard’ last Monday. In the AI search live event held on Wednesday, when Google’s chatbot gave wrong answers, the company suffered a loss of $100 billion in one day.

When the project brought the competition of ChatGPT failed in this way, the company got a big shock. ChatGPT is an AI-based chatbot. You can text us in a human style. Whatever question you ask ChatGPT, answer it easily. However, this work was also being done by Google. However, despite its popularity and discussion, why is it feared that Google will be displaced?

ChatGPT’s easy, accurate, and quick answers are the main reason for the decrease in the popularity of Google. If we have to search for something, we cannot easily find the answer on Google. For that, we have to follow many links and visit the website. If our time is also being spent during this period, if we do not find the answer as per the search, it makes us even more disappointed. However, this chatbot provides answers to various complex questions instantly.

This chatbot has some limitations and weaknesses. Apart from that, this tool is complete in many respects. Whether it is checking code for programming, writing a proposal for a thesis, solving complex equations in physics or learning about complex chemical reactions in chemistry, researching in the medical field, or innovating in the engineering field, people from all walks of life are using this tool.

The main feature of this tool is that it has also used internal intelligence in some things. If such facilities were available from any other platform, perhaps such platforms would have come into the limelight long ago. ChatGPT is no different than a highly skilled teacher. ChatGPT has easily passed the world’s most complex tests.

He has easily passed complex courses like US Medical Licensing Exam, Bar Exam, and MBA. Because of these and similar features of ChatGPT, it has become popular overnight. According to Reuters, this platform has crossed 100 million active users in two months. This is the number of users that it took Tiktok nine months, Instagram 30 months and Google Translate more than 70 months to reach.

The main source of Google’s income is Google Search and the emergence of ChatGPT as its competitor is a sign of danger for the company. However, this was not the only headache for Google. Google is worried about the company that makes ChatGPT. Although it was created by Open AI, Microsoft is behind the company. Microsoft is the same company that has been operating the search engine ‘Bing’ similar to Google Search for a long time.

OpenAI

According to various reports, Microsoft invested one billion dollars in OpenAI in 2019. Since then, Microsoft and Open AI have been working together. Previously, Microsoft and Open AI have also worked on an AI tool named Dalai. This is a tool that can create a photo with the help of AI just by placing the text.

After the success of ChatGPT and DLA, Microsoft has planned to integrate these platforms into its system. The company also included ChatGPT in Bing on Tuesday. However, you have to wait for some time to use it.

This is a sign of danger for Google. Platforms that can easily meet the needs of users are the preferred platforms. An example of this is Google itself. Google’s social network Orkut was replaced by Facebook. Now, if Google is to save its search engine business model, it needs to adopt a new strategy soon.

Google claimed that its chatbot ‘Bard’ is more advanced and better than ChatGPT. However, the tool made the company taste the bitter taste of failure in the beginning. The fact that various technology companies are focusing on AI has indicated that the AI war has started in the world. Such chatbots have created more fear because of their ability to think within themselves rather than convey the information we have given them. As people learn from their mistakes and experiences.

Experts claim that chatbots also learn from their weaknesses. Similarly, if AI and robotics continue to be refined in this way, it cannot be said that feelings will not be created in them. If this happens, such tools can prove to be dangerous for the world. As we are taking advantage of such chatbots. We may have to face losses as well. Writers, programmers, and the call center industry in particular may be in trouble.

This does not mean that chatbots will replace them. However, if the people of that area are not able to improve themselves according to the time, it cannot be said that they will not be displaced.

Due to social media and the internet, many people do not use their brains much. Scientists believe that if this trend continues, we will have to completely depend on it.
